Congratulations on starting your own brokerage. Wishing you the best of everything. I know you will do really well.

You both are the best and we always give people your name when they are looking for a realtor. Good luck.

Thanks for the professional job you did. Particularly appreciated Julie’s handling of all the issues that surfaced while I was on vacation. My vacation was uninterrupted.

Thank you for all your words of wisdom and unselfishness. They came at a very important point in my life, you are appreciated.

We’re back from our trips, still very ‘unpacked’ from the move, and very pleased with our new home. Thank you for the extraordinary job you did of representing us. It was our pleasure to have the security of working with such professional folks. Thanks, too for the fabulous gift basket full of so many goodies. Although we hope it is a ‘loooong’ time before we move again, we know we can contact you and refer friends to you.

Kathy & Jim Libby

A simple thank you doesn’t seem adequate f0r everything you’ve in helping my move to Arizona go smoothly. You’ll never know how much I appreciated you!

 Marge Nichols

I want to let you know how much I appreciated the Flag you placed in the front of my house and all the others you placed in front of each home in our group of Townhouses. I plan to display my flag on each of the days you listed on your card.

Thanks for all your hard work and personal attention. You were great!!

 Wayne and Larrie Allen

Thanks again for the flags. We now have 10 and scattered them around the yard on the 4th. You came too early (understandably) to see out handiwork. Here’s a picture from our front walk…

Just a note to thank you for the beautiful housewarming basket. It was so thoughtful of you and it really brightened our day! We also want to take this opportunity to let you know how much we enjoyed working with both of you. Your professionalism, positive attitudes and hard work made the sale of our house go smoothly. And all the time you took answering my millions of questions!! We will welcome you to anyone we know that is looking for to buy or sell a home.

Thanks again so very much and we look forward to getting together with you for that glass of wine on our patio once the ‘dust settles’ here and Jeff is back in town.

Open letter neighbor to neighbor,

For years we’ve all seen RE/MAX’s Steve and Bahr active in or neighborhood. Whether it was listing properties, bringing in active buyers, keeping us up to date with their monthly newsletter or hosting our yearly ‘Giant neighborhood garage sale”.

Working from home, I first met Steve and Julie years ago as they would suit up their roller blades and deliver their monthly newsletter. Steve or Julie would hand deliver the newsletter and we would have a chance to chat while I was occasionally working in my garage. This little contact with the Bahrs gave me the confidence that when it came time to sell, they would be the ones to get my call.

When it came time to put our home up for sale, I needed facts. As many people do, I was going to try the ‘for sale by owner’ thing first. I phoned the Bahrs and told then I wanted to try ‘by owner’ and needed a market comparison done so we would know what to set our sale price at. A few days later Steve and Julie gladly came over and presented a market comparison. The Bahr’s also presented what they could do for us if we decided to list, there was absolutely no ‘pressure applied’ to try to get us to list with them. Just the opposite, it was words of encouragement and best wishes in our ‘buy owner choice’.

You guessed it, after 2 months of ‘by owner’, we called on the Bahrs to get our house listed. Within one day we were up and running in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service). Qualified showings began as well. Then shortly after listing, the events of September 11 hit and it seemed like the world came to a halt. We were all glued to the TV set.   Homes were just not selling.

Steve and Julie kicked it up a notch by bringing in groups of Realtors for tours and holding open houses. In addition they kept our yard sign info tube filled with great ‘color’ flyers they designed & supplied. You could even find our house on the Bahrs web site. At a time when homes sales in our country crashed, working very hard, Steve & Julie Bahr brought in buyers and our home was SOLD!

We have thanked Steve & Julie Bahr privately however we would like you, our neighbors, to know that we wish you all well and will miss many good friends and please give Steve & Julie a call when you are thinking of selling or buying- you’ll be happy you did.

Creig and I enjoyed working with you, both when renting the house and now with the sale. We've been waiting a long time for the market to rebound enough to sell and you were there along the way keeping us updated on the neighborhood market. You were our first choice for an agent because of our past experiences during the rental process, your integrity, and the trust we felt when working with you. There are so many unexpected issues that come up during a sale and we knew we could trust you to be honest and forthright when answering questions and giving recommendations. We appreciate all that was done for this sale and are very happy with the outcome.

I'll be in town for 10 days in May and it's going to be strange seeing the house as someone else's. But today is the April 1st and I did NOT have to make a mortgage payment and that's a great feeling!

The house build is keeping us too busy and mentally exhausted as we have to keep a step ahead of the subs at all times, as well as going behind them to point out what they missed...like framing for a door and window. Hope to be in the new house in September or October.

All the best,
